Into the Light--A
Holiday Story. Vanaver Caravan, Caravan Kids, Arm of the
Sea Theater and special guest singers, Barely Lace perform an enchanting
holiday story. With festive dance, music and puppetry, the performance tells
the story of Lucia as she travels the world's communities to learn how light is
kept glowing through the darkest part of the year. "Into the Light"
incorporates many traditions including Chanukah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, Santa

Hospital to Show Quilts Created by Mimi Davenport. Davenport
loves to create big, breezy, colorful quilts to celebrate life's big events or
to send some care and love to someone in need of healing. She believes that the
warmth and love a quilt provides last indefinitely. She also works extensively
honoring as well as experimenting with the Ukrainian folk art of Pysanky, a
wax-resist process using dyes and real eggs. Healing Arts Gallery at Ellenville

High Falls
Carols and Santa at
High Falls-Marbletown Annual Tree Lighting. Gather at the
tall evergreen tree in the center of town, adjacent to the Depuy Canal House
for this free family annual holiday event that officially ushers in the
holidays. Bring a flashlight and join in the Christmas carols sung by Rondout
Valley Intermediate Carolers, directed by Julianna McCarthy—MC'd by
actor/writer Happy Anderson. Complimentary hot soup will be provided by John
Novi and the Depuy Canal House. The highlight of the event is the arrival of
Santa Claus on a fire engine courtesy of The High Falls Volunteer Fire
Department. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served by the Community Church of
High Falls. Please bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. Santa's

Coach House Players present a "Christmas Carol" themed event with the

Spartacus. An
HD cinema experience captured live on October 20, 2013 at the Bolshoi Theatre
in Moscow. Spartacus with its famous Aram Khachaturian score has been
considered one of the greatest ballets in the Bolshoi repertoire since the
1960's. Choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich, the Bolshoi's ballet master, the
production starts Mikhail Lobukhin as Sparticus, and Anna Nikulina as his wife

Santa Claus Conquers
the Martians. Although on the list of one of the worst films
ever, "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians" remains a Holiday cult
classic. In the near future, Martians are worried that their children watch too
much television and are too rigidly controlled. The plot is hatched to kidnap
Santa Claus to help them relax and be kids again. As a preview to the movie, is
Max Fleischer's 1948 cartoon of "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer".

Intro To Bee Keeping. Beekeepers
have been successfully keeping bees in a symbiotic manner for centuries. Rob
Overton, who is deeply involved in the beekeeping community with thirty plus
years of experience will be leading these free seminars. The pros and cons of
treatment and treatment-free beekeeping will be discussed so that you can make
an informed decision before you invest. No knowledge of beekeeping is
necessary. Additional sessions may be scheduled if there is an interest. Session 1: Overview of the Honeybee. Topics
to be covered are: native pollinators, honeybee caste and races, bee
stings/apitherapy, where to get bees, bees and neighbors, beneficial plants and
